Pyro'spush it up Trail run
SIgn up for this summer's PYRO's Push It Up Trail Run, taking place on Memorial Day Monday May 25, 2026.

Sign up to take part in our annual Trail Run this year at Grand River Park in New Castle. Runners can choose one of two courses to suit their ability, and all proceeds raised go directly to the Capt. William H. "PYRO" DuBois Memorial Scholarship Fund.
About the run
The donations create a longstanding legacy for Capt. DuBois and help aspiring air force ROTC cadets fulfill their dreams of becoming an aviator. There will be a barbecue following the race. Be aware that this trail run is at an elevation of 5,000+ ft., and it is a rigorous trail riddled with roots, rocks, and uneven terrain!
One event - 3 courses
In memory of Capt. William “PYRO” DuBois who died defending our country when his F-16 crashed in the middle east on 12/01/14. All proceeds from the race go to Pyro’s Wings scholarship which provides financial support to future fighter pilots.

How to get here
From New Castle: Head South across the I-70 Bridge to CR 335.
At the "T" turn Left towards River Bend
In about 1/2 Mile turn into Grand River Park
From Silt or Rifle: Take I-70 East towards Glenwood.
Take Exit 105 (New Castle)
Turn Right across the Bridge to CR 335.
At the "T" turn Left towards River Bend
In about 1/2 Mile turn into Grand River Park
From Glenwood: Take I-70 West towards Rifle.
Take Exit 105 (New Castle)
Turn Left across the Bridge to CR 335.
At the "T" turn Left towards River Bend
In about 1/2 Mile turn into Grand River Park
